We have no record of a clear understanding of the early history of the outsations. Kumplampoika parish had at one time twelve outstations.Mylapra, Mekozhoor, Vayalathala, Keekozhur, Thalachira, Chengara, Pezhumpara, Kottupara, Maniyar, Laha, Chittar and Seethathodu.Vayalathala and Chittar outstations were elevated to parishes and the present outstations are Mylapra, Mekozhoor, Chengara and Thalachira.

St. Marks Church Mylapra

In 1920, during the tenure of Rev. P.K Chandy Achen, Kuzhikkala Parish, Zacharia Ninan was a Church worker.During the tenure of Zacharia Ninan, five families from Mylapra joined the Church while worshipping in a shed at Vettipuram,Ooppamala with six families.In 1923,Ellumkala John, a member of the five families, donated one acre of land to the Church for Rs. 100.Seventeen families joined the Church from Karimbekkallil. In June 1923, Bishop Moore baptized 90 people a day and joined the Church. After that, seven more families from Mekozhoor joined the church.The foundation stone of the Church was laid in 1961.On January 9, 1966, when Rev. T.V Kuruvilla was a Parishioner, Church was consecrated by Bishop Right Rev. Dr. M.M John.Mylapra Church has 67 cents of land.When Rev. Nebu Skaria,Kulathunkal was minister, the Madbaha was rebuilt.As part of the centenary plans, a new parsonage was built.Parsonage received financial support from the Churches of Dubai and Thiruvanathapuram.In the early days,Pastor Philipose, and later T.V Varghese, George K George, O.P Jacob, Rev. Nebu Skaria, N.M Joseph, Sibi Abraham also served as ministers.Sonu D. Daniel is now performing a commendable service.

Chengara Estate Church Fellowship

This is a Church in the garden area.Worship is held at the school in the garden area.

A sub-parish started in Chengara (Harrison Malayalam Plantation, Kumbazha Estate) about fourty years back.Initially the ministry was served by estate staff and Vicars of Kumplampoika. The Union Church worships at the LP School on the estate as it does not have its own Church.Worship starts at 7.15 am and ends at 8.45 am. Our Bishops visit the Church at different times.The Church has over 180 members.Holy Communion is held on the first Sunday of every month.Onam evangelistic meetings are held during Onam.On 18-11-2000, 33 people were baptized and joined the Church.Many non-Christians work with the Church. Presence of educated people is an asset to the Church.In the past, Saji C Lukose, O.P Jacob, N.M Joseph have served as ministers.Rev. John Punnan is now performing a commendable service.

Manalniravel St. Thomas Church (Mekozhoor)

It has been almost 50 years since this church was formed.Murupel Parampil Abraham donated a portion of his property to the Church in the Vattaman area near the Kadammanitta Hospital.Fourteen families attended the service.But as the congregation migrated to other places for a living,the Kadammanitta Church ceased to exist.

Kattukallil Thomas and his brothers donated ten cents of their property at Kadammanitta, Manal Niravel to the Diocese.But now the Church owns 27 cents of land, including a Church and a cemetery of its own. On November 11, 1959, Rev. P.I George Achen conducted the first worship service there.The present Church was built during the tenure of Rev. T.V Kuruvila.The Church was consecrated by Bishop M.M John in 1966.For 18 years Pastor Pullolil C.N Varghese has worked hard for the upliftment of this church. One Sunday in the month, the parish priest of Kumplampoika comes and conducts the Holy Communion service. The congregation maintains good spirituality.A room was built next to the Church and the Church was electrified. At different times George K George and O.P Jacob served here.Sonu D. Daniel is now working very diligently as a Church minister.

Thalachira St. Thomas Church

The Church was started during the tenure of Pastor P.M Cheriyan. Records show that when Mr. N.M Mathai was a Church worker, Church had 15 families. Once again the work of this Church slowed down.O.P Jacob, Joby John, Nebu Skariah, Anish Mathew etc. have served here. With the enthusiasm of Rev. Samji K Sam Achen, the old Church was renovated and the Church was re-dedicated by Revered Thomas Samuel Bishop on 21 October,2007.Now Siju Varghese works as a minister.
