In the early days of the movement, the organization known as Balasamajam, Balikasamajam, and later as Youth League,GirlsGild ,the youth alliance is now known as the Youth Movement.From the very beginning of the Church, promising young people of the future have given courageous leadership to the Church.Youth movement regularly conducts Bible studies, intercessory prayers and literary meetings.

Our church was the venue for the District Youth Meeting of 1966-67.Proceeds from the 1967-68 Christmas tree fruit plucking competition organized by the Youth League were donated for buying the fancy light for the Church.It is also recorded that donations were collected and sent to the Andhra Mission in the same year.One-day conferences have also been held over the years.The youth alliance members bought books from C.L.S and sold and raised funds.In 1972-73, Elanthur district one-day conference was held here. In 1973-74, excursions were arranged to Kanyakumari, Moolamattom and Idukki.In the same year money was collected and sent to the flood relief fund and it also appears that a special vehicle was arranged for evangelism.

In 1975, the youth-sponsored convention held at P.C Easow's farm gave more spiritual impetus to the youth. Rev. Kurian Samuel Achen's leadership further contributed to the spiritual activities of the youth.In those days a special prayer meeting was arranged by the youth at the church on saturdays.In 1979-80,the Youth Movement bought mic set from the surplus got from the youth convention.The district level youth conference was held here beautifully.In 1980-81,the district art competition was held here.Our youths got first place in these competitions.

Youth Movement meetings are held after all sunday Church services.The cooperation of the youth is being received in all the activities of the Church.Meditation meetings and parish meetings are held.Late Rev. Canon K.T Thomas,Sasthamkoikkal, Rev. Zacharia Iype,Kuzhiparambil, Rev. P.J George,Puthuchira and Rev. Nebu Skaria,Kulathungal grew up through the Youth Movement.Rev. Anish P George, Padickamannil, the link of the new generation of the Youth Movement is now serving as Vicar in Toronto, Canada.

Our parish hosted the first youth conference of this millenium.The unit was further strengthened.The conference was mainly held with the proceeds from the magic show.The fact that the Youth Movement was able to conduct medical camps for many years is a good example of social responsibility.The youth movement was also able to lead the construction of 2 houses as part of the Shalom Housing Project.

After the Family Sunday service in 2006, the Youth Movement took a bold step by preparing lunch.The distribution of Onampayasa was done with the help of sponsors and in collaboration with Almaya Fellowship.The youth movement is leading the way in distributing tapioca and fish, selling Christmas cards at homes and decorating Church on Christmas carol day.

In the centenary year, the Youth Movement also led the Gudrikal, Gevi study journey.The release of the Church dedication memorial is a significant achievement of the movement. The centenary year marks the beginning of the 'Home Rounds' home visit program and the youth meeting after Sunday worship.

When the whole world was in the grip of the great disease of COVID, we were able to do many relief work in different stages.1100 bottles of water were provided on demand from Pathanamthitta Collectorate.In addition, as the first phase of kit distribution, kits were distributed during the lockdown to the needy families in our parish and to the families in our sub-parishes Chengara, Thalachira,Mylapra and Manalniravu.

The goals of the Youth Movement are worship, learning, witness and service.
