VICAR'S MESSAGE

"Placed Him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them" (Luke 2:7)

Beloved in the Lord,

Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!!

We have entered the last month of 2024.We should be able to remember with gratitude and praise God for the ways and means by which He has guided us on our journey through life from the beginning of 2024 until today."Forget not all his benefits" (Psl. 103).We entered 2024 with many new resolutions and dedication. Assessing before God how faithful we have been in those decisions helps us advance in our spiritual life.We must be able to recognize the areas where we have fallen and move forward with renewal.

December is a time when Christians around the world renews the memory of the birth of Jesus Christ.Luke 2:7 is a verse that should make us sit up and think if we listen to the accounts surrounding the birth of Jesus Christ.Have you ever thought about that scene? When Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came into this world in human form to save mankind from their sins, he had no decent or clean place to lie down. When the Almighty God, who called this entire universe out of nothing - the Almighty God, the Creator of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible - came down to this universe of His creation - to His own people - to save them, the place He found was a stable.Even parents who say they live in such poverty today cannot imagine an experience like this.

There is no room for the Lord, not just a situation that existed when Jesus came into the world as a man 2000 years ago.Isn't it true that Jesus still has no place today? Today we have big concrete buildings to live in and all modern facilities, but does Jesus have a place in our homes? Today, many of us are concerned about our children's education, their friendships, and their future. We are squeezed between work, business, farming, TV/Internet programs, and reality shows. There is no place for Lord in between.Does the Lord understand our struggles? Does the Lord see, know? What can be done after giving space to the Lord?We are nurturing negative thoughts. That's why there is no space for the Lord.Only house full boards everywhere. Jesus says "I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me" (Rev. 3:20).

As we enter the final days of 2024, if we can hear the sweet voice of Jesus and open our hearts to Him, the Lord is sufficient to take over our lives and our unanswered problems and guide us successfully.

Wishing everyone a blessed
Christmas and a Happy New Year.

With love and prayers,
