History

From the beginning of our church,mothers used to gather and pray together.The group was known as the 'Mathru Sangam' in the early days.With the inauguration of the C.S.I Church, a women's alliance was formed to include young women.Old mothers from each areas , wives of Church workers and Parishioners of each and every time led this association.

Women's Fellowship, Kumplampoika Church

At the beginning of the Church, Mrs. P.C Oommen, Mrs. Cheriyan, Mrs. P.K Joshua, Mrs. K.P Chandy, Mrs. Chinnamma Abraham etc. led the women in the Church.

Members of Women's Fellowship have been attending and making donations for Bethel Day and St. Monicas Day since the early days.Members of Women's Fellowship participate in all the events organized in the district under the auspices of Women's Fellowship.The Women's Fellowship fund is paid regularly to the centre every year.The Andhra Mission is also given assistance every year. The Women's Fellowship donated a good amount of money to the building fund, church benches, pulpit and other equipment, as well as the parish hall.The most important source of income for Women's Fellowship are offering collection and harvest festival collection.

In 1976-77, Diocese women activists T.I Mariyamma and A.C Mariyamma lived and worked in this place.

Every Friday, the Women's Fellowship conducts fasting and prayer services at the Church.Singing, intercessory prayers and Bible study are conducted every week.Members of Women's Fellowship used to visit the sick, help those in need, and give Christmas presents to poor and widowed mothers.

The Women's Fellowship would like to thank all those who have assisted and co-operated in all the activities of the Women's Fellowship, the Parishioners, Kochammas, Church Evangelists and Church members.Especially love and indebted to Rev. Jacob Johnson Achen and Kochamma.
